Assoc. Dr. Bora COŞKUN was born in İzmir. After his undergraduate education, he successfully completed his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and received the title of "Medical Doctor". He completed his specialization in Ankara Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Gynecology Training and Research Hospital and became a "Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist".

In 2015, he participated in applied training on advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic surgery practices and fetal surgery in the Netherlands within the framework of the European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology exchange program. Within the framework of the training program, he had the opportunity to participate in home births and follow-ups in the Netherlands, as well as water birth and vaginal birth after cesarean section.

Assoc. Dr. Bora COŞKUN was at the Klinikum Leverkusen Gynecology Hospital in Germany in 2015 and during this time, the President of the German Robotic Surgery Association Prof. Dr. He participated in Laparoscopic surgery and Robotic surgery operations with Kubilay ERTAN.

Having received Robotic Surgery Training Program Certificate at Acıbadem University CASE (Center of Advanced Simulation and Education) Laboratory and performed Robotic gynecological operations while working at Ankara Gülhane Training and Research Hospital, Assoc. Dr Bora COŞKUN was awarded the "Rising Stars" award at the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association National Congress in 2017.

He has many oral and poster presentations presented at congresses, as well as many articles published in international and national peer-reviewed scientific journals. His articles have been cited over 80 times. He also serves as a referee in national and international scientific journals. In addition to the chapter translations of international books that are accepted as references in the field, he has also authored chapters in four books published in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has attended more than 60 scientific congresses and courses so far.

He still continues his professional association activities as the Secretary General of the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association – Young Specialist and Assistant Organization, which includes all young gynecologists in Turkey, as a member of the Gynecological Endoscopy Association (JED) Disciplinary Committee and as the Secretary General of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (TJOD) Ankara Çankaya Branch. .

He took part in the organizing committee of the "Advanced Surgical Intervention Training in Emergency Obstetric Hemorrhage" within the framework of the "Program for Establishing Bleeding Intervention Teams to Prevent Maternal Mortality" organized by the Women's and Reproductive Health Department of the Ministry of Health. Since 2018, she has been a member of the Ministry of Health's Maternal Mortality Preliminary Investigation and Central Commission.

Associate Professor Bora Coşkun, who has the Assisted Reproductive Therapy (ART) Clinical Practices certificate, which authorizes the application of IVF treatments, applies the best diagnosis and treatments for infertility treatment.

Bora Coşkun, who continues to teach at the Faculty of Medicine, with a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Yüksek İhtisas University, has been awarded the title of "Associate Professor" in the field of Health Sciences, Gynecology and Obstetrics as of November 2020, as a result of scientific and academic evaluation with the authority given by UAK. is entitled to receive.
